This Fieldbar Drinks Box draws its inspiration from the wooden “Drinks Boxes” made by the famous picnic hamper companies in the early 1900s. We mirrored the dimensions and proportions of these boxes which were designed to accommodate two Champagne bottles in an upright position as well as various other drinks combinations. We also re-imagined the old top-handles they used to carry these boxes. The high-performance insulation and the use of modern materials is new, but the quality and dedication to craftsmanship are the same.
